Indirect Lending Title Clerk / Loan Processor
Summary:
Perform preparation of titles and proper lien documentation.
Perform Quality Control activities such as title tracking reports, measurements and audits.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Apply for title when necessary.
Ensure documents are properly completed.
Pay necessary fees when applicable.
Create, track and maintain title log by Month/Year on all title sales loans.
Ensure proper lienholder information is perfected on all titles received.
Notify dealership if title is not received in a timely manner.
Maintain correspondence regarding title not received.
Issue demand for title letter when title/lien perfection notice is not received by 60th day from date funded.
Notify customer if title is not received in a timely manner.
Maintain correspondence regarding title not received.
Follow-up consistently when problems occur, and proper collateral lien perfection is not completed timely.
Satisfy all paid title loans and send out titles with thank you letter.
Answer questions about sales loans.
File/process UCC filings within the office, when applicable.
Maintain UCC Log by Month/Year.
Other Duties/Responsibilities
Review/Process sales funding loan documents.
Fund dealer.
Handle any post funding processes required.
Serve as backup to other Indirect Loan Representatives including handling POI/stips submitted.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
High School Degree or equivalent required; college coursework in finance or business is desirable.
General knowledge and understanding of the regulations, state and federal laws, procedures and principles of consumer/sales finance lending.
Abide by all BSA Regulations.
Requires good interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with all dealers, management and customers.
Knowledge of operating computer and applicable software systems.
Ability to operate standard office equipment including copier, fax, 10 key calculator and scanner.
Must be detailed orientated.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and complete tasks within time limits.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Flexible hours will be required on a regular basis.
