Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and six years of directly related experience, two of which involved processing agreements and/or contracts.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

The University of South Alabama’s department of Allied Health is seeking to hire a Clinical Contracts Coordinator, Allied Health.

Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
Provides oversight for all clinical affiliation agreements for the College to ensure establishing the agreement, renewals, and requirements of contracts.
Oversees pending agreements and ensures completion.
Corresponds with outside agencies, USA legal office, students, faculty, administration and staff.
Utilizes USA legal checklist system.
Follows up daily with University legal department and clinical agency attorneys regarding negotiations on contracts to include requirements, policies, and requested changes on the agreement.
Obtains legal signatures for all agreements.
Ensures all requirements and documents within the agreement are posted to the internal database along with the expiration date, onboarding sites, population of students the agreement serves, and notes to clinical affairs staff/administration.
Collaborates with risk management related to general and professional liability insurance verifications and special requests from the agency.
Files contract documents electronically and physically.
Collects and maintains records on all full time faculty in the College of Allied Health to include transcripts, biographical data form and CVs, and portfolios to ensure compliance with University policy.
Maintains rosters, timelines of faculty years of credit toward tenure and promotion, and supports Dean with electronic tenure and promotion process and faculty evaluation process.
Works with Academic Affairs in support of faculty recruitment by gathering paperwork needed for complete faculty file.
Receives and reviews Academic Affairs form 1 and advertisements before submitting to Dean for approval.
Works with Dean/Search Committees to make sure proper search protocol is followed (i.
e.
handouts for Search Guidelines, EEOC cards, etc.
).
Maintains a roster of part time faculty and budget and gathers and prepares part time files, contract letters and completes FLAC each semester.
Supports departmental secretaries in Allied Health to include assisting with training sessions, scheduling issues, faculty and staff issues.
Works with Chairs on staff hiring/exiting process and paperwork.
Updates Allied Health administrative manuals/policies.
Regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
Related duties as required.
