Candidate for this position should be willing to work in a fast paced solo law practice for a well-established family law attorney.
Duties would include office administration, client contact and litigation preparation.
These duties include working with attorneys, paralegals and clients with a series of administrative functions.
Candidate should be detailed oriented with effective time management and organizational skills.
- Provide administrative support to attorney
- Prepare and transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and memos
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Assist with legal drafting, including agreements, pleadings, and motions
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Manage calendars and deadlines for attorney
- Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Skills:
- Knowledge of legal procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Administrative skills, including filing, data entry, and document management
This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently.
