Litigation Associate (2-5 Years)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Litigation Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in legal research and preparing pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and briefs.
Prior experience with depositions and trials will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
Conduct legal research to support case progression and management.
Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide timely updates on case progress.
Collaborate with colleagues in a collegial environment to strategize and execute case objectives.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
J.
D.
from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama or qualified to obtain licensure by reciprocity.
2-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on complex civil cases.
Federal or state clerkship experience is desirable, but not required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and adept at client interactions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions
Normal professional office setting.
Evening and/or weekend work.
In State travel will be required.
Typical Physical Needs
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
May need to climb stairs and lift up to 30 lbs.
