REPORTS TO: Chief Compliance Officer SUPERVISES: Compliance Specialist(s) DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist the CCO with maintaining a Compliance Program that enhances and formalizes the compliance activities throughout the Company’s business functions by: * working with Senior Management and compliance leads within each functional area in a collaborative effort to monitor and document compliance activities, and to achieve continuous improvement through habitual feedback; * compiling a matrix of the applicable laws, rules and regulations that govern the business and assigning responsibility for each to a functional department within the Company; * validating that adequate steps are being taken within the functional departments to stay current on the laws, rules and regulations that govern the business as well as industry best practices as they relate to the organization's compliance responsibilities and efforts; * performing audits of the functional groups procedures (in addition to and separate from other required internal and external audits performed within each respective functional group) to assess risks and to detect and prevent instances of non-compliance; * developing reports with meaningful measurements on the effectiveness of the Compliance Program and as to any emergent compliance issues; * monitoring the effectiveness of the Company’s compliance training; * supporting investigations of alleged, suspected, and potential violations of compliance related policies and procedures and any resulting corrective actions; * seeing that compliance activities are thoroughly documented; and * promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization * Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer on an as needed basis consistent with the expectations and responsibilities of a Compliance Manager QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years proven experience in legal, contracts, finance, human resources, supply chain, or other field/department/position involving compliance expectations/requirements.
* Experience performing external and/or internal audits preferred * Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
Ability to interpret complex external (e.
g.
, legal) and internal governance (e.
g.
, corporate policies) documents * Ability to exercise independent and objective decisions as to functional groups and company departments to effectuate compliance with external (e.
g.
, legal) and internal (e.
g.
, corporate policies) governance * Highly evolved oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work with limited direction in a fast-paced environment * Exemplify strong knowledge of external (e.

, legal) and internal governance (e.
