The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Marketing Specialist to our team.
The Marketing Specialist will assist the marketing department in various duties to efficiently promote The Resort at Paws Up.
Marketing Oversee social media strategy and execution across various platforms.
Negotiate and purchase digital and print media placements that support the marketing strategy and adhere to the marketing budget.
Coordinate with marketing and sales leadership to produce appropriate marketing materials for travel consortia and brand partnership programs.
Collaborate with writers, designers, photographers and videographers to produce content for various marketing channels.
Oversee on-property marketing and communication through various channels including (but not limited to) digital, guest app, in-accommodation, and public spaces.
Collaborate with operational departments as needed for event marketing execution and communicating event related information.
Act as a liaison between the marketing department and our operations teams/executive leadership by attending morning stand-up meetings, weekly operations meetings and being available for marketing needs and questions.
Provide tours and hosting assistance for sales and marketing guests: journalists, editors, travel agents, group planners, VIP guests etc.
Collateral Management and Fulfillment Assume stewardship of inventory management of all marketing collateral.
Manage collateral displays and in-accommodation marketing materials to ensure that messaging remains current.
Provide regular inspections of all in-accommodation marketing materials as a seasonal audit.
Coordinate brochure request fulfillment.
Assist in the fulfillment of sales and marketing gift mailings.
Act as the point of contact for all sales and marketing printed material shipments – receiving deliveries and making sure they are delivered to the correct recipient.
Photo and Video Coordination Work with the Senior Marketing Manager and VP of Marketing to establish monthly shoot schedules.
Assist in managing photo and video library.
Assist with casting and booking models, stylists, photographers and videographers for assigned shoots.
Oversee details during pre-production to ensure a smooth shoot day (photographer equipment needs, props, procurement of signed location/talent releases and on-property coordination with operations teams, etc.
) Send out call sheets and communicate any outstanding details to talent and contributors.
Supportive Functions and Responsibilities Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members at all times, take pride in representing The Resort at Paws Up professionally with our guests and ensure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner.
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.
Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
Educational, Experience, Licensure Required Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related degree, or equivalent experience 1-2 years' experience as a marketing specialist or equivalent Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products as well as project management software is a plus Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day Excellent communication skills and organizational skills Valid State Driver’s License Team Members can look forward to: PTO accrued at 4.
