'"tot eh" is a common typo I make when typing "to the" despite being so severely wrong. I have a strange fascination with how even when incorrect, my body follows predictable patterns. In a similar vein, much of this album emerged from "mistakes" while producing (i.e. loading the wrong sample or automating the wrong effect), yet the results adhered to my taste and evoked a cohesive atmosphere. In a sense, I used my DAW like a ouija board, allowing for the most intimate, uninhibited communication of my emotions in musical form. '
