'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross' TV Programme - 25 Sep 2009 This week, 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' saw a clash of the presenting Titans: the cheeky, floppy-haired BBC1 presenter greeted his uber-camp BBC2 rival, Graham Norton. The two are preparing to battle it out against one another in a bid to secure the best guests for their respective shows. Having turned down an offer to take over Paul O?Grady?s teatime slot, Norton has agreed to take a ?500,000 pay cut to stay at the BBC and prolong this 3-year contract that expires at the end of this year. He even gets to move over to BBC1 - a move that will no doubt put Wossy's considerably large nose out of joint. Also appearing were comedy double act Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller who were on the show to plug their forthcoming sketch series. Another guest was Austin Powers' Mini-Me himself, Verne Troyer, while the musical guest performing was Colombian pop star Shakira, who performed her latest single 'She Wolf' from her new album of the same name.
