Created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee, Arcane: League of Legends is inspired by the League of Legends games. Rather than ostracise those who’ve never played, it appeals to both casual viewers and longtime fans with its animation, plot, well-rounded characters, and equal emphasis on emotion and action.
The episodes focus on Jinx, an impulsive and manic criminal from the oppressed underground of Zaun, and Vi, an enforcer in the competing utopian Piltover.
‘It’s heartbreaking and beautiful and devastating, and it feels satisfying,’ voiceover artist Ella said of the final episodes to Netflix’s Tudum.

The fans seem to agree, and although, they are naturally sad to see their show come to an end, there is plenty to look forward from the fictional universe.
Show co-creator Christian Linke said: ‘From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season.
‘But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.’
