A huge soap death will caused devastation in Emmerdale village this Christmas.
Metro can confirm that one resident will meet their maker – and it won’t be far away – as ITV have already filmed their death, funeral and burial.
Because the likes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street film quite far in advance, it means audience members visiting for tours often spot spoilers for storylines further down the line.
This has been the case for an Emmerdale lover from Dublin, who flew to England for the tour – which definitely didn’t disappoint.
Posting in an Facebook fan group for the show, the fan shared a variety of snaps taken on the journey around the village. She took pictures of the iconic Woolpack, Mill Cottage…and a freshly dug grave.
She wrote alongside the snaps: ‘Did the Emmerdale tour on Saturday and we got to meet the gorgeous Billy (Jay Kontzle). We flew in from Dublin first flight in last flight out it was great. Also, there was a fresh GRAVE!!! See pics.
‘I told Billy it better not be his grave and he said no but I am in that story line! – any guesses?????.’
The picture of the grave, unfortunately, doesn’t give away much at all. But it is next to dearly-departed Val Pollards…
Right now, we know Roxy Shahidi and Lesley Dunlop are leaving their roles as Leyla Harding and Brenda Walker, along with Daisy Campbell, who plays Amelia Spencer.

It’s unknown just how Brenda will depart the show, while Daisy previously spoke about how the door is being left open for Amelia to return in the future.
It’s been reported Roxy’s exit storyline will result in Leyla’s death, so does that mean the grave belongs to this character?
Or could it be someone else?
