Dwight McNeil is a doubt for Everton’s Premier League trip to West Ham due to a knee injury.

The 24-year-old was forced off in the closing stages of Everton’s 1-1 draw with Fulham last month due to a knee issue.

McNeil was able to play a full 90 minutes in Everton’s 1-0 defeat to Southampton last weekend, however, Dyche revealed before the game that the midfielder was working closely alongside a physio.

McNeil remains a doubt for Everton’s clash against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday due to the ongoing problem.

However, he did take part in training with his teammates on Tuesday, which suggests he remains in contention to start the game.

Dyche also revealed on Thursday that Abdoulaye Doucoure could return after missing the loss against Southampton.

‘Doucoure has got a chance,’ Dyche said.

‘He’s done very well to recover – we were worried at first that it would be a number of weeks but that’s settled down really quickly, so he’s got a chance.’

Everton currently sit 16th in the Premier League with nine points from their opening 10 games.

West Ham, meanwhile, are in 14th with 11 points and Julen Lopetegui is already under pressure as his side have registered just three wins in the Premier League this season.
