Lives are turned upside down in upcoming episodes of EastEnders, with Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) rocked to the core when Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) takes his own life.

Yolande had found herself in a strong position, even attending an event at the Community Centre for the first time, but the news throws everything into chaos again, with Patrick (Rudolph Walker) desperate to support his wife during this latest traumatic time.

Elsewhere, another criminal is currently evading justice – but not if Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) has anything to do with it.

Determined for her campaign to prove Debbie’s murder, Bianca turns the screws on Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) even further – but is it enough?

It’s not all she has to contend with either as pressure is put on her regarding her health. Will she finally seek advice?

In other developments on the Square, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) remains wary of son Tommy (Sonny Kendall) – and it’s clear that his nice guy act is just a front…

Monday September 30

At No.20, Yolande is hesitant about taking part in the Harvest Festival celebrations at the Community Centre.

Patrick tries to convince her but the pair are interrupted by DS Amartey who arrives and reveals that another woman has come forward in the case against Pastor Clayton.

Yolande distracts herself with Amy and having been buoyed by her strength, Yolande later heads to the Community Centre, much to the delight of Levi and Agatha.

Bianca continues to play Reiss before Sonia’s plea hearing, and makes a fake gesture. Bianca grows determined to free her sister after spying Reiss with a mysterious letter.

Kat tries to deter an erratic Bianca and she finally agrees to back off. Later, Bianca is shocked to read the contents of the letter at No.25 once Reiss’ back is turned when Debbie’s parents arrive with a solicitor to read the contents of her will. Reiss asks Bianca to leave, but she listens in and is shocked by Debbie’s requests…

Alfie and Kat continue to struggle with Tommy who has bunked off school, as Kat scolds Alfie for not disciplining their son.

Alfie closes the bookies early to have a heart-to-heart with him in the café, but he loses his job in the process. Elsewhere, Cindy encourages Anna to commit to her feelings with Freddie, and the pair agree to be friends again by going on a bird watch.  

Tuesday October 1

Clayton asks Yolande to change her statement, but he reels when he realises Yolande won’t, and quickly leaves when Denzel arrives and marches him out.

Patrick, Howie and Kim are shocked to learn of the events, but it’s clear Yolande has found strength by standing up to her attacker.

At the end of the evening, Patrick and Yolande make to call it a night, but they are interrupted – the police arrive and reveal that Pastor Clayton has died by suicide.

Bianca’s suspicions are raised after Debbie’s will reading, and she heads to the café to speak to Brenda and Hugh about Reiss and Debbie’s marriage. Later, Bianca heads to the cab office to speak to Kat so she can reveal her suspicions.

Kat tries to persuade Bianca to book a GP appointment, but she leaves to find Freddie and hides his microphone from bird watching in No.25 so she can record a confession from Reiss.  

Freddie and Anna arrive back to The Vic after an afternoon of bird watching to the unapproving glare of Ian who is vocal about his dismay forcing Cindy to leave.

Back at No.45, it’s clear Cindy isn’t in the forgiving mood, and she makes her excuses to head to Beale’s Eels for a steamy encounter with Junior.  

Elsewhere, Tommy puts on a nice-guy act in front of Kat and Alfie, but it’s clear not all is resolved. George tries to bond with Kojo, but his efforts continue to fall flat. 

Wednesday October 2

Yolande reels at Pastor Clayton’s suicide as the family try to rally round her. After questioning her next move, Yolande is interrupted by Stella who arrives.

Bianca puts her plan into action, and plies Reiss with alcohol to entice a confession. Reiss starts to open up, but the pair are interrupted by Freddie who arrives.

Ian arrives at Beale’s Eels as Cindy and Junior finish their rendezvous.

Thursday October 3

Patrick tries to comfort Yolande as emotions run high following recent events.

In the café, Freddie talks to Bianca about her health but she dismisses him.

Junior hatches a plan to spend more alone time with Cindy, and the pair head to a nearby hotel for another tryst.

Afterwards, Junior asks Cindy for lunch but he’s secretly hurt when she dismisses the idea.  

Tommy helps Alfie find a new job for the manager of the Minute Mart, but Alfie gets an unexpected surprise at the interview. Kat convinces Alfie to take the job.

Elsewhere, George tries to bond with Kojo, and shows him the ropes behind the bar which starts to thaw their relationship.
