Just two weeks after his dramatic split from Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury has shared a ‘positive’ update addressing his recovery.
The couple shocked fans by announcing they had called off their engagement after meeting on Love Island five years ago.
After having to hire extra security for the family amid the breakup stress, Molly-Mae confirmed she was going ahead with her yet-to-be-revealed ‘special project’.
Meanwhile, Tommy, 25, also returned to normal as he got back to boxing training after an extended period away to recover from a hand injury.
The boxer wrote: ‘9 months post hand surgery… finally back using my hand and WOW does it feel good.’
Although he didn’t address the split, he hinted that his mental health had not been great recently and training was a ‘positive step’.
Tommy shared: ‘My mental health needed this positive step today. Thank you God for healing me🙏🏼.’
Boxing promoter Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), founded by Jake Paul, responded with a simple: ‘Welcome back Tommy.’
Other industry names like Ty Mitchell sent emoji amid a slew of comments from the public both defending and tearing down Tommy.
Most of the less encouraging comments referenced the rumour that he allegedly cheated on her ‘multiple times’ — which he denied.
Molly-Mae has clarified she is ‘never going to talk about’ the breakup publicly, out of respect for Tommy and their young daughter, Bambi.
In her vlog, she said: ‘I’m not going to give a story and explain what is happening, but to be honest with you that was something that was never going to happen and isn’t something I’m planning on doing or talking about.’
Last week, Tommy returned to Instagram and admitted it had been a ‘heartbreaking’ time.
He continued: ‘The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this.’
‘Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers,’ his rep previously told Metro.co.uk.
The news came as a shock after several public declarations of their love, including celebrating five years together just weeks ago.
Just three weeks before announcing their breakup, Molly-Mae called Tommy the ‘love of her life’.
The couple, who became engaged in July 2023, moved in together months after the ITV dating programme.
They bought their dream home in March 2022, after they welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023.
