The Prince and Princess of Wales have posted a message of support for Team GB ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paralympics tonight.
William and Kate said in their message posted on X: ‘Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport!
‘Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and all those competing at #Paris2024. W & C.’
The opening ceremony for the Paralympics takes place tonight in the French capital as athletes from around the world prepare to compete.
It comes days after Kate was spotted heading to Crathie Kirk, the church on the grounds of the royal family’s Balmoral estate in Scotland.
The Princess was seen riding in a car alongside her husband William and son George.
The Wales were joined by Prince Edward, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and the late Queen’s cousin Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, for a church service on the grounds of the Scottish royal residence.
Princess Kate has kept a rather low profile as she continues to undergo preventative chemotherapy.
In June, Kate updated the nation on her health, saying: ‘I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.
‘On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting.
‘But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.’
