Get those parkas back on everyone — Liam and Noel Gallagher have announced even more tour dates for Oasis’ reunion.
The infamously feuding Mancunian brothers have been publicly at odds since a dramatic split in 2009 but will finally reunite for a world tour in 2025.
If that wasn’t enough, Oasis founding member Bonehead is set to join the brothers as yet more gig dates have been announced due to ‘phenomenal demand’.
After adding three dates to the tour ahead of the sale, the overwhelming and chaotic attempt to get tickets by the British public has resulted in two more Wembley shows.
The brothers shot to fame in 1994 with their debut album Definitely, Maybe, leading to a string of hits like Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova from their follow-up record.
A core part of the Britpop revolution, the duo topped charts for a decade before calling it quits after a bitter row in the late 00s — during which Liam damaged Noel’s guitar.
Fans have been praying for a return ever since, but it seemed unlikely as the duo continued to rebuff rumours and throw barbs at each other over the next two decades.
But millions never gave up hope and finally, the stars are aligning for the return of Oasis… to huge fanfare.
In a shock twist, Liam, 51, complimented his 57-year-old brother over the weekend at Reading Festival which only added to the growing reunion tour buzz before it was confirmed, which experts claim could rake in over £400million.
Fans are beside themselves with the exciting, but what do we know about the most anticipated reunion in music history so far?
When are Oasis going on tour together?
The band had teased that an announcement would come on Tuesday, August 27 at 8am.
As the clock struck, it was then confirmed that Liam and Noel Gallagher are heading out on tour in the summer of 2025 with dates in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Oasis commented: ‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.’

Days after the reunion reveal, Oasis announced they would be adding three more dates in Manchester, London, and Edinburgh.
Liam shared the announcement on social media and wrote: ‘Due to unprecedented demand, three new UK dates will be added to Oasis Live ‘25 🔥.’
Less than a week after the frantic sale, Noel and Liam announced even more dates at Wembley Stadium.
On X, they wrote: ‘UK 🇬🇧 Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand.’
Tickets for this will be available through a ballot, just like the pre-sale, with fans who tried to secure seats offered sign up first.
It’s unclear when this sale will begin but lucky fans will be able to sign up to the Oasis ballot shortly.
‘As soon as the 17 dates sold out Noel and Liam said they wanted to put on more concerts,’ a source previously The Sun.
They teased even more dates could be on the way, adding: ‘They were stunned by the demand for tickets and want to give back to their fans as much as they can.’
Both Noel and Liam are set to tour, as well as original member Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs who joined the Definitely, Maybe tour last year after overcoming tonsil cancer.
Another source shared: ‘Bonehead is confirmed. They both wanted him in the fold and he was one of the drivers of the reunion. Noel has brought in some of his band too.
‘The Oasis family has really come back together. Bonehead is ecstatic.’
How much will tickets cost for the Oasis reunion?
Tour prices have been an incredibly touchy subject for fans of late, with many artists criticised for charging hundreds of pounds for ‘nosebleed’ seats.
Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter have both come under fire for this, while Blink-182 fans were offered a meet and greet with Travis Barker for £2,000 — ticket not included.
Where To Buy Oasis 2025 Tickets
Tickets for the upcoming Oasis tour, taking part from July 4 and kicking off at Cardiff Principality Stadium to August 17, finishing at Dublin Croke Park, will be on sale 9am (UK) and 8am (IRE) Saturday August 31.
Oasis prices were also caught up in this outrage as dynamic pricing kicked in and standing tickets rose from £150 to over £350.
This was due to Ticketmaster’s ‘in-demand’ prices but fans were furious — even Sir Keir Starmer slammed the ‘unfair’ touts.
Resell tickets are only available through Twickets, which has been criticised as well due to high booking fees that have since been reduced.
Metro.co.uk understands that Oasis’ next batch of tickets will have confirmed pricing posted to the website before the sale begins, believed to be the face value price.
For Wembley’s original sale, face value meant £151.25 for standing but ranged up to over £500 for premium packages.
In Manchester, tickets started from £148.50, with only standing available alongside a number of hospitality and luxury offerings.
Meanwhile, Cardiff and Edinburgh cost £150 and £151 respectively while Dublin’s Croke Park, started at 86.50 euros (£72.75).
In comparison, the UK legs of popular stadium tours like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour were priced at upwards of £170.
Oasis tickets were available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.gigsandtours.com and www.seetickets.com.
Will Oasis headline Glastonbury?
Talk of a headline slot at Glastonbury Festival has also been buzzing with fans desperate to see the rock legends at Worthy Farm again.
The historic festival will take place on June 25, 2025, for four days before wrapping up and taking a year off — known as a fallow year.
Coincidentally, the Oasis tour dates leave a gap during Glastonbury weekend, with the band currently available on Friday 27 June-Sunday 29 June.
However, in their announcement, Oasis stated their shows will ‘not be televised’ and Glastonbury typically airs on the BBC, while it’s also possible they could announce extra shows on those dates.
The band also altered their announcement to state the currently announced dates are their only European shows.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, a representative for Liam also denied claims of a reunion at Glastonbury, but hinted at something exciting coming soon.
They said they ‘categorically deny this Glastonbury rumour,’ but added: ‘We will be officially making an announcement next week.’
Even this wasn’t enough to deter fans and Oasis released a statement directly addressing the mounting speculation that they would be heading to the Farm.
‘Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year,’ they wrote.
‘The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.’
Bookies reckon it’s more likely that the brothers will break up once again before they play Glastonbury, sorry to anyone holding out hope for that headliner reveal.
Why did Oasis split in 2009?
A now infamous falling out at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009 left Oasis in tatters and the brothers no longer on speaking terms.
They were well known for huge arguments and tours dissolving but this backstage feud saw Noel walk away from Oasis for the final time.
Liam reportedly damaged Noel’s guitar which led to the rift which lasted two decades but he has disputed that his behaviour was to blame.
Speaking to Radio X, the Supersonic singer claimed Noel ‘couldn’t handle the vibes any more’ and was ‘too scared of the rock ‘n’ roll’.
Over the years, they have continued to throw barbs at one another, with Noel telling Rolling Stone in 2013 in no uncertain terms there ‘is no band’.
He added: ‘No, I won’t be getting involved, anyway. If there is a reunion, I won’t be in it.’
After Liam’s comments about an Oasis reunion ‘happening’, Noel said: ‘He should get his people to call my people to call my people. They know who they are. They know where we are.
‘He’s got my manager’s number. Call us. But you know what? He won’t call. Stop talking on the f***ing internet and let’s see what you’ve got to say.’
However, the brothers’ tune appears to have changed as on August 24, 2025, Liam wrote on X: ‘I never did like that word FORMER.’
The tweet sent shockwaves through an already excited fanbase and has left music lovers in absolute bits.
What have Oasis said about the reunion?
Very little has been confirmed by Noel and Liam beyond the dates but they did share the announcement on social media.
Liam did also reply to people who weren’t keen on the reunion, telling them their ‘attitude stinks’ while praising excited fans as ‘biblical’.
He shocked fans at Reading Festival on Sunday, August 25, when he dedicated the song Half The World Away to Noel.
He called his brother the ‘greatest songwriter’ in a rare positive comment about his former bandmate.
Fans will have to wait and see what the 30th anniversary of Definitely, Maybe brings as new music rumours swirl.
