A woman who claimed to have been sent ‘flirty messages’ from Tommy Fury has now said she was ‘catfished’.
Love Island star Tommy and his former fiancée Molly-Mae Hague, both 25, shocked fans when they announced they were ending their five-year relationship.
The ex-couple met on the ITV programme in 2019, and share one-year-old daughter Bambi together.
Since the split, various rumours have been reported, including claims that Tommy is no longer living at home, and that he allegedly cheated on her ‘multiple times’.
One woman claimed last week that she had been sent messages on Instagram from Tommy, appearing to show ‘receipts’, in a video on her TikTok account @kaykeoghx.
Now however she’s denied it was ever Tommy, saying: ‘Someone was basically, definitely trolling me, because another fake account has messaged me and they’ve literally said to me, “You actually thought that was him, that was me.”‘
She added that she was ‘confused’ about meeting Tommy and claimed someone in a ‘group of guys in Manchester’ could have ‘passed off’ being Tommy.
‘I don’t even now know what he looks like,’ she insisted.
In a previous video, she claimed to have met and been messaged by Tommy, saying: ‘I was thinking about whether I should make this video or not, but I am going to. Me and my friends were out in Manchester and we actually met him [Tommy] one night.
‘Basically, we were on a night out and we met this group of guys and I didn’t really put two and two together of who he was.
‘One of the guys asked for my Instagram, which I gave to him. We were all together, but basically after looking at my phone and seeing his name pop up, that’s when I realised who he was.
‘Obviously, after I saw his name pop up I was thinking “What the hell”. I obviously realised who he was, but I literally have DMs and I don’t know if I should put them out or not.’
In a second video, her friend comes forward to ‘explain what happened’, and she then shows an alleged screenshot of the boxer messaging her on Instagram and asking ‘Are you in Manchester?’ after sending a fire emoji.
A spokesperson for Tommy previously said: ‘Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.’
This comes after another woman who was rumoured to have been involved with Tommy as he allegedly cheated on Molly-Mae came forward.
It had previously been said that Molly-Mae was ‘told he had cheated on with a Danish woman he’d met while he was away in Macedonia’.
The Sun claimed that the Pretty Little Thing ambassador didn’t want to believe it, but when she confronted him, he ‘didn’t deny it’.
Tommy’s spokesperson later denied the allegations, saying: ‘Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.’
The woman at the centre of the rumours has now come forward, insisting that she did not kiss Tommy at a club in Macedonia and that he was ‘a proper gentleman’.
‘I am the girl but nothing happened. We just had fun. I’m Danish but I am from here also.
‘I don’t know what he’s been doing but someone else must have kissed him. I have a boyfriend back home.’
She told The Sun she did first meet Tommy with his security guards and friends ‘but didn’t speak to him’.
Milla Corfixen said: ‘We didn’t take any pictures with Tommy. I didn’t approach him. I saw him there but we were not together and I didn’t talk to him there.’
She then claims to have met him at a second club, where she ‘just had a chat with him’.
The 20-year-old insisted: ‘They invited us to his table and we had fun and that’s it. We did not do anything.
‘I would never have done anything with a married man, as he’s basically married, with a little child.’
She added that Tommy did not flirt, but was ‘just being friendly’.
Molly-Mae announced their separation last week, saying: ‘Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.
‘After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
‘I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.
‘I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.
‘Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
‘I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.
‘Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.’
Tommy also wrote on his Instagram story: ‘I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.
‘The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad.
‘Bambi is our priority.
‘Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.’
The couple, who became engaged in July 2023, welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2021.
In recent months, the former power couple had been dogged by rumours of a split, despite public declarations of their love.
