Emmerdale death shock as EastEnders confirms major Linda twist in 12 new soap spoilers

With big discoveries made and blackmail twists aplenty, the soaps serve up more unmissable drama next week, as confirmed in my brand new, piping hot batch of spoilers.

Emmerdale brings in a long-lost Sugden in the form of newcomer John, who Victoria is set to meet after a run-in with Eric Pollard at a funeral – and it’s not long before he’s making his presence felt!

And speaking of unexpected visitors, Linda Carter gets one of her own in EastEnders when an associate of Dean Wicks’ rocks up in the Vic, with a shocking proposition.

Will Linda be tempted?

Over in Coronation Street, Joel Deering lines up his next target while Hollyoaks’ Kitty Draper realises that she’s not the only resident of the eponymous village that knew of the real Kitty.

EastEnders

Linda is left in shock when Fraser, a contact of Dean’s, arrives in the Vic and offers her a deal. Elaine intervenes, getting rid of Fraser, but when speaking to Johnny it’s clear that Linda is tempted by the offer. Conflicted, she turns to the bottle once more. Things are complicated further when she receives a blackmail letter, with Johnny determined to find out who is behind it all, but culprit subsequently pays Dean a visit in prison.

Reiss is worried sick about Debbie’s post-mortem results but Sonia is quick to reassure him that it’s just routine procedure. Eve, however, spies Reiss with Debbie’s old wedding ring in the cafe, while Phil demands a return on his fake investment.

Suki is stunned to see Nish in the company of Ayesha, the widow of Hardeep, who Nish murdered two decades earlier. Suki catches up with Ayesha, while Nish plants seeds of doubt in Eve’s head about their close bond. Eve makes a decision to propose to Suki in front of everyone – but just how will Suki react?

Coronation Street

Lauren is terrified for the life of her baby son, who was born prematurely and now lies in an incubator. Will he pull through? That remains to be seen but DS Swain is at the hospital to ask some questions.

Betsy reminds Joel how he owes her for leaving her stranded in the middle of a rough estate a few weeks back. Joel seethes and, as Betsy demands £100, he grabs her and drags her into the ginnel!

Fiz is left utterly speechless when she jumps into Alina in Fresco’s car park. Alina explains that she’s been called as witness in a trial. But will Fiz tell Tyrone that his ex is back in Weatherfield?

Emmerdale

Kim and Will struggle to hide their guilt as the search for missing Rose continues. Kim suggests sending a text from Rose’s phone to throw Dawn off the scent but this raises suspicions from Will. Caleb, meanwhile, finds out what Ruby has been up to courtesy of a gleeful Kim, but will this spell the end for his marriage?

Eric is offered a lift to an old friend’s funeral by Victoria, who ultimately puts her foot in it with a bereaved son. The bigger shock, however, is that the man in question is named John Sugden. Eric confirms that John could be her half-brother. John later shows up in the village, having broken down, and Victoria is delighted when he starts ruffling a few feathers.

Samson finally stands up to Josh but his actions backfire when he’s arrested for assault. Cain reckons Moira is the one who reported him. Amelia, meanwhile, awaits word as the day of Samson’s plea hearing arrives and silence befalls the Woolpack when news from court reaches the village.

Hollyoaks

Kitty discovers messages from Abe on the real Kitty’s phone and soon the truth comes to light, with Abe being the abusive ex of the real Kitty. Realising Cleo is in danger, Kitty urges her to leave Abe, who overhears the conversation.

Ethan is the subject of much discussion as Donny quizzes Warren about the co-owner of The Loft after he gets wind of Vicky’s crush on him. Vicky, meanwhile, asks Ethan for a job at his nightclub.

Ste is worried sick when James doesn’t come home. The question is: what has transpired? And when James does show up, will he and Ste be able to talk through what’s happened?
