The walls close in on Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith) in Hollyoaks next week as she faces off with Sienna Blake (Anna Passey), who tracks her down to the high school where she’s having visions of dead Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield).
Dilly, as viewers know, is on the run after admitting to Sienna, who is her biological sister, that she killed Rafe (Chris Gordon), who had been due to marry Sienna on the day in question.
The killer was aided in escaping captivity by Ethan Williams (Matthew James Bailey), who allowed her to hide out at Cindy Cunningham’s (Stephanie Waring) flat while he came up with a plot to get her out of the country.
A manhunt is underway for fugitive Dilly, with detectives unaware that she’s right under their nose but, with Ethan having found her a way out of the village, Dilly soon pleads with him to come with her.
Ethan, however, chooses to stay put, with strong words exchanged between he and Dilly, who subsequently vanishes into thin air.
Afterwards, Ethan confesses to Sienna, who wants nothing to do with her new sister, that he’s been harbouring Dilly, which leaves her stunned.
Dilly, meanwhile, finds herself hiding out in the high school, where she proceeds to have visions of dead dad Patrick, unaware that they’re a result of the head injury she sustained a number of weeks back following her scuffle with Sienna at the manor.
Upcoming scene will see her talk to Patrick as if he’s really in the room with her, with the former head teacher – or this figment version of him – encouraging Dilly to video call Sienna and get her down to the school.
Sienna is soon on a mission to find her, with Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson), who was formerly in a relationship with abusive Patrick, offering assistance in tracking her down.
Upon arriving at the high school, the two decide to split up. Despite everything, Sienna is keen to help her sister, knowing that something isn’t quite right.
And soon enough she comes face-to-face with Dilly, and it doesn’t talk her long to realise that her latest sibling is in serious need of medical attention.
With Dilly believing that she’s speaking to Patrick, Sienna realises the true extent of her injuries and encourages her to get help.
Maxine, meanwhile, hears Sienna’s screams and swiftly arrives at the classroom, where she partners up with Sienna to make Dilly aware of the control that Patrick had over all of them, determined to make her see that he was not a good man.
Dilly is confused more than ever and, in tense scenes, she collapses due to her injury, with Sienna cradling her sister, as pictured, desperately hoping she won’t die.
The schemer is rushed to hospital, and Sienna sits by her bedside. Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) arrives to offer support, with a heartbroken Sienna relaying that Dilly has a bleed on there brain.
The question is: will she pull through?
This particular week of episodes mark a turning point for the storyline in question. But will Dilly be around for the next chapter?
