Jeremy Vine has randomly caught this scary moment with Jason Donovan and a London bus on camera.
The BBC2 presenter was cycling and filming his journey in London, when a City Sightseeing bus careered past him on Oxford Street.
Moments before, Neighbours star Jason, 55, had recognised his fellow cyclist at the traffic light as TV star Jeremy, 58, .
The pair exchanged pleasantries, before Jason shot off in front of Jeremy to make way for the traffic, as they cycled single file.
But what happened next caught them both off guard, as a London bus is filmed – randomly on Jeremy’s head camera -careering past the Australian singer, seemingly almost hitting him.
In the video’s supporting text, Jeremy dubs the driver ‘terrible’.
When they first saw each other, the Too Many Broken Hearts hitmaker is filmed taking out his earphones, and asking, ‘Jeremy? Jason Donovan’ while the broadcaster replied, ‘Nice to see you,’ also adding in text that he hadn’t clocked the mystery man on the bike was that Jason at this stage.
‘Have a good one,’ says Jeremy vaguely, as Jason rides on, commenting that he could recognise the TV personality because of his ‘camera’ – which protruded out of his helmet.
‘It’s the first time I’m trying this actually,’ said Jeremy, who then told Jason to ‘watch’ the bus that was coming up their right hand side.
The bus is then filmed getting a bit too close to Jason for comfort, and outraged Jeremy called out: ‘How he can he do that, how can the bus go that close to you?’
Seemingly unfazed by the incident, Jason remarked: ‘I looked at the helmet and thought who the hell would do something like that, and they I thought, it has to be Jeremy’.

The two linked up again past the bus at the next set of lights, and the presenter told the pop icon how close the bus had got to him, before the video ended.
Jeremy posted the clip to Twitter/X, alongside the caption: ‘Bloody hell. I just saw a bus nearly take out Jason Donovan.’
You really couldn’t write this moment, and fans thought so too as one commented: ‘Scary but also brilliant vid of two proper legends.’
Others weren’t so happy with Jeremy and Jason’s on-road behaviour though, as one said: ‘Chatting to each other, and not concentrating, Donovan with earphones in, can’t hear anything, holds the bus up for no reason, realises too late, but pulls over to let the bus pass, so what does the bus do, wait till you’ve both finished your “famous mates” chat?’
Ouch. To that, Jeremy responded: ‘Exactly that, dude.’
Another suggested Jason looks a more confident rider than Jeremy, as they said: ‘You keep saying how close the bus was and he absolutely couldn’t give a t**s. You could learn a thing or two from him Jeremy, he’s clearly a more confident rider.’
But the broadcaster was having none of that, and commented: ‘Did you watch the video? I’d say that’s 18 inches.’
Jeremy often wears the recording device while cycling, and then publishes clips of drivers that he claims are misbehaving.
This comes after Jeremy posted another video of him being knocked off his bike by an ‘unbelievable’ accident with a reversing van last month.
Alongside the worrying video, he wrote: ‘This morning. About an hour ago. Illegal right turn, then watch. Unbelievable.’
As the van ran over his bike, Jeremy banged on the back to alert the driver and is heard shouting ‘s**t’.
A vocal advocate for cyclist safety, Jeremy previously explained to The Times how he thought bikes shouldn’t be allowed to be overtaken in big cities.
‘I do think, firstly, we shouldn’t allow any overtaking of bicycles in big cities. That’s one step. And I’m starting to think I want cars to pull over if they see me behind them because they know I’m faster,’ he said.
