Amid tragic death requests and funeral dramas, you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s all misery in Coronation Street next week.
It’s too emotional for Billy to bear, as he breaks down at the prospect of what Paul has asked.
But the matter of the wedding is not off the table, as the loving couple do eventually get engaged.

Meanwhile, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) is worried about the results of the paternity tests, and Adam makes it clear that he wants the results in writing.
Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) is stunned to walk in on the couple mid-passion, and Aadi wants her to keep quiet.
While she initially agrees, Courtney is taking the mick and Amy is soon having a go at her, warning her over her behaviour.
Finally, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) finds himself chucked out, while Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) finds out Eileen (Sue Cleaver) has been lying to him over the funeral awards.
