Juventus have had their 15-point penalty in Serie A reversed.

In January, Juve were docked 15 points for alleged financial irregularities and false accounting in relation to previous transfer dealings.

Juve’s former chairman, Andrea Agnelli, was banned from holding office in Italian football for 24 months, while Pavel Nedved, the club’s vice president, was been banned for eight months.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s sporting director Fabio Paratici was banned for 30 months and has since stepped away from his role at Spurs.

Paratici and Agnelli lost their appeals against their suspensions but Nedved was successful.

Juve have denied wrongdoing and submitted an appeal to Italy’s highest sports court.

The 15-point penalty has now been revoked, with the Italian court ordering that the case is re-examined.

The decision means Juventus move from seventh to third in Serie A.

AC Milan drop out of the Champions League places, while Roma drop to fourth with eight games remaining.
