The residents of soap are about to learn the hard way that some actions have consequences, with adversaries and authorities set to come calling.

EastEnders sees Stacey Slater facing some tough questions after she’s taken down to the station following her decision to steal money from an office, while Emmerdale’s Leyla Cavanagh is taken hostage.

The perpetrator is none other than vile drug dealer Callum, who wants revenge for her reporting him to the police, but will the wedding planner make it out this alive?

Over in Coronation Street, Stephen Reid is on a mission to destroy Carla Connor,with the killer breaking into her home while she sleeps.

But just what has he got in store?

Hollyoaks, meanwhile, sees Juliet Nightingale and Peri Lomax encounter a very special guest in the form of Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, who comes to the girls’ rescue during their long-awaited trip to Brighton.

EastEnders

1. Stacey is delighted to have cash but Jean is suspicious. Realising if she is caught she could lose everything, Stacey asks for her mum’s help to return the cash to the office she took it from, but things don’t exactly go to plan, with Callum subsequently arriving on the Slaters’ doorstep to ask Stacey to accompany him to the station. Determined to get herself out of this mess, Stacey goes to see Alan, the security guard from the office, and threatens him.

2. Ravi puts pressure on Denise to get the information he needs from Jack’s laptop, but she subsequently refuses to do so, calling Ravi’s bluff, telling him to do his worst. Ravi therefore turns his attention to Chelsea, sharing a flirty exchange with her, slithering over to flirt with her while she’s on a date with Keanu!

3. Lola zones out a number of times, leaving Jay concerned as he urges her to go and get checked out, while also encouraging her to seek counselling for Lexi. Lola ultimately agrees, but Emma returns and undoes all of his work, as Jay clashes with her on a number of occasions throughout the week. Emma later spots Jay innocently talking to a girl on a hen night, and relays her discovery to Lola, who orders him out, fearing he has cheated on her.

4. Honey encourages Jay to attend Lola’s MRI to support his wife, while she makes it her mission to find out why Emma is so controlling, hoping to get some answers.

5. Whitney returns to work, but with Mother’s Day being a big topic of discussion, she starts to struggle, with news that Peach’s ashes are ready to collect leaving her broken. Zack does his best to support her, but Whitney proves evasive, struggling with the thought of saying goodbye to her daughter.

6. Keanu struggles when Chelsea asks him outright if he still loves Sharon, but just what will his answer be?

7. Freddie hits upon an idea to make fast cash for the struggling Slaters.

Coronation Street

8. Stephen reminds Carla how important it is that she’s on top form ahead of a meeting, laving her irate as she takes charge, ordering him to make the tea. Enraged, Stephen retaliates by giving her a double dose of LSD and Carla subsequently barks at everyone to get out of her factory as the drugs kick in, leaving Stephen delighted.

9. Determined to find out what’s going on, Carla sees Dr Gaddas, who insists that she take an extended break from the factory and go back on her antipsychotic drugs. Stephen, meanwhile, steals Carla’s keys and lets himself into the flat while she sleeps, turning on the grill.

10. Daisy has enough of Justin’s terror, as she films him lurking outside, determined to prove what he’s like. Justin hurries away, but his sister later calls at the pub to warn Daisy, making it clear that this isn’t the first time her brother has become obsessed with someone, reiterating that he’s very dangerous.

11. Tim goes behind Faye’s back, welcoming Jackson and Miley onto the street, but his heart sinks when Miley recognises Eliza, stopping to chat to her. Later in the week, Tim points out to Faye that if she passes up the opportunity to get to know her daughter, she’ll regret it for the rest of her life.

12. Tyrone reveals that Sam and Hope are now an item. Nick’s reminded of how much he misses his son.

13. Adam confides in Peter and Steve that he’s worried about his business.

14. As a grumpy Evelyn opens her birthday cards, she relents and agrees to a small family gathering, inviting along, Roy who’s delighted to accept her invitation.

Welcome back to Hope Street! The popular serial drama, which centres on a police department in a Northern Irish town, makes it long-awaited return to screens next Friday (March 17) at 1:45pm on BBC One. The second series picks up six months after the shocking first season cliffhanger, which saw Inspector Finn O’Hare left to die in a shocking car accident

Finn, who survived the accident, has been off work for six months, but crime is afoot in Port Devine, which leads to the arrival of Al Quinn, an old friend of Finn’s, who will play a pivotal role in the upcoming series. Having seen the second series, Metro.co.uk can’t recommend it enough. Not to be missed!

Neighbours’ Alan Fletcher – aka Dr Karl Kennedy – has reassured fans that the beloved Aussie serial will be even better than it was before when it returns to screens on Amazon Freevee later this year. The Celebration Tour kicked off last week in Belfast, and Metro.co.uk was in attendance on opening night, with the show earning a five star review from us, which you can read here.

Home and Away continues weekdays on Channel 5, and Cash is on a mission to get answers after the devastating car crash which nearly claimed the life of his sister Felicity and lover Eden, operating outside the law and against the advice of his loved ones, with the cop later securing a meeting with bikie ringleader Tex in prison. But will he get what he’s after?

Casualty continues on Saturday (March 11), and it’s a big day for Robyn, with her final day in the ED having arrived after a decade. Things don’t exactly go as planned, with Robyn being forced to stay on shift a few Horus longer than expected, but will she get her happy ending?

Emmerdale

15. Leyla fears for Jacob’s life, knowing Callum is out for revenge, and things escalate when drug dealer Callum attacks Suzy with a brick, leaving her in a bad way. Suzy wakes up in hospital, much to Leyla’s relief, but knowing Callum is still at large leaves both women worried sick. Caleb offers Leyla some advice, which she takes, as she arranges to meet with her adversary, who retaliates by kidnapping her, leaving everyone worried when she fails to return home.

16. Marshall is grateful to Jai and Laurel for taking him in, but there’s more upset when he finds out that he can’t be accepted back into Hotten Academy without his dad’s approval. Jai voices his concern over Marshall’s presence in their home, leaving the teen upset as he overhears, but things take another turn when Colin shows up, appearing to be more caring, trying to convince him he’s sorry for disowning him over his sexuality. Marshall is left confused by his dad, who starts to love bomb him with messages.

17. Brenda reminds Bob not to let the B&B interfere with his responsibilities to Cathy, but that’s exactly what happens, with Bob failing to pick up on Cathy’s behaviour, with subsequent scenes seeing the teen put her own life in danger, with Bob realising she needs proper help.

18. Marlon hopes a walk around the village with Paddy is a good sign. When the ‘Man Club’ reconvenes, Jimmy opens up. Paddy makes a decision regarding his future but it’s clear he’s still struggling.

19. Amy and Matty are delighted to break the news of their engagement in the Hide to a somewhat thrown Victoria. Before long, Victoria opens up to Amy and Matty, revealing that an encounter with a man on her night out triggered her past trauma over her rapist Lee.

20. Charles fails to convince Naomi to see sense over Alex and admits to Manpreet that it’s painful to watch Naomi risk her future.

Hollyoaks

21. Juliet has another PET scan at the hospital to find out if her cancer treatment is working. Peri, meanwhile, organises a special trip for the two to Brighton, which sees the couple make memories to last a lifetime, including a special and romantic moment on the beach.

22. Tragedy strikes as Peri and Juliet realise all of their belongings have vanished, but Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard comes to their rescue and, after an incredible night, the trio return to the eponymous village in Danny’s Drag Wagon.

23. Nancy is operating a no-nonsense approach at the school, as the students wonder why the new headteacher is being so strict. Charlie doesn’t think they should put up with it, so he sets off the fire alarm. Nancy will not let this one slide, and thus tells all students outside that everyone is in detention until the person responsible comes clean. With all eyes on Charlie, he soon confesses.

24. Ste and James have a big question to ask Sienna and Romeo.

25. Misbah has a confession to make at the Maaliks household, as she reveals to having a new outlook on life, which inspires Imran to pursue a passion of his. With the help of Brooke, and a bit of creative art therapy, Imran has a new career aspiration.
