A new interactive map claims to show where jobs will be lost in the UK because of Brexit.

It suggested 182,010 jobs will go in the UK and other parts of Europe between July 2017 and February 2019.

Users can highlight each specific job loss learning about the company or organisation, the amount of jobs lost, the industry, and the supposed date in which these losses occurred.

The map was criticised after it was tweeted out by anti-Brexit Twitter account ‘Best For Britain’ and former Labour spin doctor and remainer Alastair Campbell.

The main gripe was it included several closures and job losses that firms involved specifically denied were Brexit-related.

Critics pointed to Honda’s inclusion after it had stated Brexit was not the reason it had announced 3,500 job losses in Swindon this week.

The interactive map also included Nissan’ decision not to create 741 new jobs in Sunderland despite there being no suggestion it had anything to do with the UK leaving the EU.

The map, which was created using the online tools MapTiler and OpenStreetMap, pinpoints supposed job losses in the UK, Belgium, Germany, France and Gibraltar.

It can be viewed here.

The UK is set to leave the EU on March 29.
