This is the moment Charles Dance discovers he has a half sister on Who Do You Think You Are?.
The BBC show that delves into the family trees of celebrities is back for a new series, and the Game Of Thrones actor gets a huge shock.
Charles, 70, admits he didn’t know much about his dad Walter and finds out he served with the Royal Fusiliers in the Boer War and was much older than he believed.
Walter went into military service the age of 25 in 1900, making him older than Dance thought he was. He was 72-years-old when the actor was born.
His next of kin was his wife Louie and daughter Norah, Charles’ half sister, who was born in 1898.
A tearful Charles says in the episode: ‘I have a sister, I see. I have to say this is quite moving, because I know so little.’
Watch Charles find out about Norah in the clip below.

The episode also sees him find out about another half-sister, Mary, born in 1903. She died at the age of five.
Of her death he said: ‘It is overwhelmingly sad and I don’t think, as a parent, that one would ever get over something like that.’
The fourteenth series of Who Do You Think You Are kicks off on BBC One on July 6 at 9pm.
