The Queen has arrived at a hospital where medics battled tirelessly to save the lives of children caught up in the Manchester Arena suicide bomb.
Her Majesty has arrived in Manchester to meet young victims of Monday night’s terror attack.

She met Millie Robson, 15, from Co Durham, and Evie Mills, 14, from Harrogate, who were both caught up in the atrocity.
The Queen also met the staff who worked through the night in the aftermath of the attack outside the Ariana Grande concert.
The Royal Family’s official Twitter account shared images of the Queen, with the caption: ‘Her Majesty is meeting nursing staff, paediatric doctors & surgeons who are treating victims & supporting their families in Manchester.’
Many of the medics who battled to save lives rushed into hospital despite not being scheduled to work.

Just moments before the monarch’s arrival, staff stood together for a moment’s silence before breaking into spontaneous applause.
Inside, doctors and nurses paused their duties and stood on balconies overlooking the main reception.
Twelve children under the age of 16 – among the 64 casualties – were taken to the hospital by ambulance following the terror attack.
Prime Minister Theresa May visited the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
