Get Out The Vote: Survivor Justice IS Racial Justice
As we navigate and organize around this critical election year, we are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership between me too. International and Black Voters Matter. Over the past seven years, two of the largest protest movements greatly impacting the politics and culture of the country have addressed the burdens of sexual violence and structural racism in our communities. We recognize that these issues are inextricably linked, and Survivor Justice is Racial Justice. me too. International and Black Voters Matter have joined forces to address issues of sexual and gender-based violence and voter suppression while uplifting and empowering marginalized voices to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all through grassroots organizing, advocacy efforts, and community engagement.
We will be traveling to Georgia, Texas, and Pennsylvania to educate people on the ground about the Address Confidentiality Program and their voting rights. To learn more, check out our Voter Toolkit below and our op-ed on Newsone announcing the partnership.
