Nic Brown Messa's stunning "Belfry" is unquestionably my second favourite doom metal album of the year thus far (sorry guys and gals but Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard's incredible sophomore full length "Y Proffwyd Dwyll" just pipped you to the post) and this one off track recorded for a split with BREIT should
be more than enough to convince you to buy it. Doomtabulous. Favorite track: Enoch.

Messa from Treviso (Italy) play obscure and evoking doom with deliciously haunting female vocals, influenced by Pentagram, Bellwitch, Windhand, Jex Thoth, Sabbath Assembly, Bathory. Their debut album titled "Belfry" mix dark ambient drones with vintage heavy occult doom and mesmerizing female vocals that will drive you through a scarlet velvet trip

Breit is a Leipzig-based female-fronted Psychedelic Doom quartet haunting the underground scene with it's epic fables ornamented by fuzzed-out, bass-driven sounds and clear blasting drums, evoking spirits of ancient tales audibly painted over a depressing slab of epic Doom.

The two bands met at Breit's European Tour in April 2016. Ever since, they had been bound by a close friendship. While playing a show together at 'Remuda' in the city of Gorizia, the idea of collaborating even closer emerged. The result is a ltd edition Picture Split 7", produced by Aural Music in collaboration with B.K.H.D. Records and Annihilate.
