Perks at Tenaya at Yosemite Health, dental, and vision insurance* 401k with company match* Paid vacation days and holidays* Paid parental bonding leave* Tuition or professional certification reimbursement* Weekly pay Free shift meal in our employee dining room Commuter bonus - $10/day for 35+ miles and $20/day for 50+ miles Employee discounts - 20% off food and beverage and 30% off retail Referral bonus – earn $200 for each eligible referral Training and development with opportunities for internal mobility and growth including the chance to work at our other locations nationwide *Available for full-time, year-round team members Responsibilities Oversee the protection and safety of company assets, patrons, and team members Enforce all company, department, and organizational policies and procedures and report incidents Observe and report procedural violations and illegal activity Fill out departmental log forms, verify that all paperwork is complete and turned in Assist with fires, wind storms, floods, blizzards, evacuations, and other emergencies as directed Provide security for special functions Operate company vehicles for transportation across the property as needed Qualifications A valid driver's license Basic math skills including addition and subtraction Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain guest goodwill Ability to work in fast-paced environment Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events Physical Requirements The ability to see, hear, walk, run, sit, squat, bend, reach and grasp objects throughout the shift in all weather conditions Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds Who We Are Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park.
