TheSlowMusicMovement Wonderful, soulful, largely laid back, urban leaning jazz with a couple of bangers thrown in for good measure and some well chosen guest collaborations. One of my jazz albums of the year.

Rob O. I got hip to Maurice Brown hearing the song Time Tick Tock in 2010 on Sirius XM. The Cycle Of Love is an Incredible album that I played repeatedly! This latest one he is firing on all cylinders. The triple blast of Moroccan Dancehall, Shenanigans and Capricorn Rising compelled me to buy this album. Wow! The horn section is a powerhouse force. With each listen the album gets more infectious. Great all around album. Favorite track: Moroccan Dancehall.

{Verse: Chris Turner) Livin' in a jungle Soul slippin' away Kids runnin' 'round Runnin' wild, runnin' wild Livin' for tomorrow Not like yesterday Look around, who's around And spaceships won't Bring you there Boarding a plane might Bring you closer I just wanna live Sisters and brothers Let's learn to love One another Is that so hard We can go far I can see it, clear as day What a day, what a day Hopelessness I reminisce Of days like this I'll never miss Remember who we are Everyone's a star [Hook: Chris Turner] Oh, my people Let's go my people Let go my people Keep hope my people {Verse 2: Chris Turner} Let's love our world And one another Yes Mother Earth Gives us life Clean her up So she don't waste away No one is perfect We make mistakes And life's a lesson We have to take So open up We will find a way {Spoken Word: J. Ivy} I would imagine that hope is the place Place in our hearts That reveals itself From the start of our days Our ways determine if we get there I'm trying to get there Stay there Vacate Stay-cate Exhale my hell Inhale my peace The piece that was left behind for me Where I see the possibility I feel it physically...I feel it physically [Hook: Chris Turner] Oh, my people Let's go my people Let go my people Keep hope my people Oh, my people Let's go my people {Spoken Word: J. Ivy} Lyrically I translate with a honest tongue Lunge at a chance To dance with this destination Hope is a idea applied to our imaginations Living in purpose Should be our daily situation Destination Hope Hope houses our health Our wealth is valued by the value We find in the experience The joy found in the adventure The experiment It's evident in the love That we walk with Speak with When we give without expectation No matter the relation This garden without guns Without hate Without disease Is the perfect location When I dream I pray I hope For this destination
