Manual Smiles label boss n_o returns with more acidic club heat.
‘I Promise You A Green Pigeon’ kicking off his ‘Definitely One Of The Songs’ EP with tribal drum work and dubbed-out chords. A deep, growling bassline underpinning its acid, while sounds of nature permeate throughout, breaking down into pure, mystical organic rhythm at the halfway mark.

The Belgian-born, London-based artist then drops left-field roller ‘Definitely One Of The Songs’, syncopated percussion alternating on top of a continuous kickdrum. While n_o’s version lives in dark basements and murky warehouses, Queer Future Club boss Azo reimagines the track for summery, open skies. She switches out its dubbed-out drumrolls for snappy snares and claps, with euphoric piano acid firmly placed behind.
