jaxers Holy Wow is this an amazing slab of wax?! Does it rock my world in several fabulous, intersecting ways? Yes. Gentle yet intense rumbling, syncopated, original sonic journeys invite repeated, deeper listening in a genre where frankly there's too much of the same. I saw Lori from Acid King mention that they're playing with these guys, and being a hyooooj AK fan, I checked it out. I'm so sad I missed the first vinyl issues. I'll be waiting for the next pressings.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
