Assistant Nurse Manager

Primarily responsible for providing professional nursing care within the assigned unit.
Coordinates plan of care with the patient, their family and the interdisciplinary team.
Ensures appropriate resources to all internal/external customers.
Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
One year nursing experience.
Current RN licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
Current AHA-BLS certification.
Current AHA ACLS certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire.
Completion of the Rhythm Interpretation Course CLEP test or classroom course or obtained within 3 months.
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment.
Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment.
Must be able to use personal protective equipment such as gloves, mask, gown, etc.
Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
