The first two weeks of October were a true marathon of events across Europe for our team as we made lots of new connections, had countless great conversations, and reconnected with old friends on the road. Let's recap!
The month started at Bits & Pretzels, Germany's top startup event in Munich, coinciding with the legendary Oktoberfest, fusing the two into an unforgettable networking experience. From there, we split across the Baltics, attending the annual highlight of Lithuania's startup events, Investor Camp and Startup Fair in Vilnius while our partner Kasparas Jurgelionis hosted the honorable Lord Mayor of London, Michael Mainelli for lunch in Tallinn with the conversation spanning AI, education, and more.
During the Startup Fair, our team had the chance to contribute to the jury panel in several pitching sessions, while our partner Viktoras Jucikas hosted a panel discussion on AI with Audrius Zujus from Argyle, and Karolis Misiunas from Google DeepMind, exploring the current state of AI and its implications for startups and investors.
As the Startup Fair was in full swing in Vilnius, a part of our team was also present in Tallinn for the first Tech Tour Deep Tech & Defence event which brought together a select group of top early-stage deep tech startups and investors across Europe. We had the privilege to support the event together with great partners such as Startup Estonia, Invest in Estonia, Estonian Founders Society, Sheffield Haworth, Zaz Ventures, Sorainen, and Plural, and we're already looking forward to the next edition!
To cap off the tour, Kadi-Ingrid Lilles headed to Paris for the annual WVC:E Summit which brought together 350+ female investors, GPs, and LPs for 2 days of networking, workshops, sharing of best practices, and advancing the diversity efforts in VC.
Thank you to everyone who made this such a memorable few weeks, we look forward to staying in touch and strengthening the ties. While the team takes a moment to recharge, be sure to follow and catch us at several upcoming startup events across the Baltics and Nordics!
