Last week our teams from Riga, Kaunas and Vilnius got together for a very special event – Alliance for Recruitment core values refresh session! It was an amazing day of workshops, productive discussions and simply a great quality time together! All of us had a chance to see how we connect to the company’s values on a personal level as well as understand better the values of our colleagues and team members. 💙 A big thanks to Laura Rimkutė for advising and guiding us through this journey! ⭐ Celebrating the power of knowledge-sharing! ⭐ For the second year in a row Alliance for Recruitment team took part in an inspiring shadowing project organized by Lietuvos Junior Achievement, offering students a unique opportunity to discover what it means to work in recruitment! Our team - Kristina Bakšaitė Kandrotienė, Indre Narkeviciute, Ema Sakalauskytė, Brigita Kulbušauskaitė, Dovilė Šilalienė, Dovydas Balvičius, Jolita Reut and Andrius Francas (he/him) - dedicated their time to a group of students from Vilnius and Kaunas interested in learning about the recruitment industry. Through job shadowing, we shared our experience and more details about everyday tasks, challenges and joys of a daily life as recruitment professionals. It is no news that foreign language skills can open many doors, give a competitive advantage as well as increase your career opportunities. 📝 “Learning extra languages is especially important when you are just setting foot in today’s job market. If you have no prior work experience, fluency in a foreign language can be the crucial factor that will make you stand out from the crowd and will land you your dream job. And knowing English these days does not really count as an extra – it is a must” – these were a part of insights shared by Alliance for Recruitment Senior Recruitment Consultant Kristina Kazlauskaitė as she spoke at the student training session in Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas. The purpose of this training was to shed some light on foreign language skills demand and trends in the current market. With that in mind, we are typically referring to our clients, candidates, and employees, however this time it applies to our four-legged friends 🐶 🐈. An amazing initiative, led by our office manager Greta Zykutė has resulted into an impressive load of goods donated by our company and employees and delivered straight to the VšĮ "SOS gyvūnai" animal shelter in Vilnius. Our partnership started over 12 years ago and it continues to grow! Last Friday was indeed an exceptional day for Alliance for Recruitment team! We had a unique opportunity of visiting the floating LNG terminal “Independence” in Klaipėda! A tour of this Korean-made vessel left our team well impressed as we got to know many interesting facts about its background, history, and capabilities. We would like to extend a huge thanks to the crew of “Independence”, including Franko Matijasec as well as Mindaugas Petrauskas and Audrius Malūkas at Höegh Evi for making this happen, giving us an amazing tour as well as answering endless question about the vessel, daily life at sea and the impact of this project to the whole Lithuania.
