Meoded Paint & Plaster is a manufacturer of eco-friendly natural plasters, decorative paints, and concrete plasters.
Meoded is looking for a Sales Representative to call on paint retailers nationwide .
The independent representative will need to provide technical support and project inspections for distributors and contractors.
The position will mainly be in office making phone calls and emails to company owners across the nation and occasional travel across the nation to visit paint store dealers.
This position is responsible for increasing sales and profit by growing key, targeted customers within an assigned territory.
Sales Representatives are responsible for managing their territory and the customers.
The position will service and grow existing customers; develop and implement business plans, oversee marketing program implementation and develop customer relationships to expand product offerings.
The sales representative will also be responsible to grow the business through prospecting new paint distributors, presenting sales opportunities, and product training.
Responsibilities:
Actively call on paint distributors nationwide.
Train and educate store staff and sales reps about Meoded products.
Maintains positive relationships with customers
Demonstrates Meoded product and substrate knowledge
Conducts substrate, surface condition, and project assessments for the purpose of writing project appropriate specifications
Maximizes all opportunities to close the sale
Demonstrates competitor and industry research and awareness
Conducts detailed sales presentations to a variety of groups of all sizes
Must be able to travel for a 2-3 days at a time to visit dealers for product training and event participation.
Keeps detailed, accurate customer and project records
Experience Required:
Prior experience in sales, paint sales, or operations required.
This position also requires strong communication, problem solving, time management and presentation skills.
Must also be self motivated and possess the ability to work independently.
Prior sales experience with Dunn Edwards, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, etc is a plus.
Base salary+ substantial commission
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $36,000.
