Folks, The Data Access Working Group [1] is happy to announce publication of SPARQL Protocol for RDF [2], a Last Call Working Draft, the abstract of which reads thus: SPARQL is a query language and protocol for RDF. This document specifies the SPARQL Protocol; it uses WSDL 2.0 to describe a means for conveying SPARQL queries to an SPARQL query processing service and returning the query results to the entity that requested them. This protocol was developed by the W3C RDF Data Access Working Group (DAWG), part of the Semantic Web Activity as described in the activity statement . Comments on this document are due 10 February 2006; please send them to public-rdf-dawg-comments@w3.org, a mailing list with a public archive [3].
