Position: EVS Heavy Duty Team
Department: EVS
Reports to: EVS Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience cleaning machines like buffers, strippers, commercial extractors, and others
Knowledge, skills and abilities to work with personal computers, cleaning equipment and sanitation systems
Ability to use equipment and supplies as required to ensure cleanliness, including climbing and working on ladders
Competence to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; ability to read and write daily zone paperwork
Essential Functions
Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of providing exceptional service at all times
Responsible for the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the buildings
Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards may apply departmentally based on uniform requirements).
Where uniforms are required, they must be clean and pressed at the beginning of each shift Clean and maintain all assigned areas within the physical building structure, casino floor space, public areas and utility systems including cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, dusting walls, machines, and equipment as well as high dusting, high windows, glass partitions, and mirrors Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or or vacuuming, as directed, including stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors, steam-cleaning or shampooing carpets, and preparing cleaning solutions according to specification Inform supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed for cleaning and maintenance duties Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment Promote excellent guest service, understanding and complying with the Eye Hi Goodbye program Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

While performing job duties the team member is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The team member must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing job duties the team member is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands.
The team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke.
The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, and there are fluctuations in lighting due to flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.
At a minimum, the selected finalist will be required to pass a background check and drug-screening test, and obtain a gaming license.
