At KIPP Austin Beacon Prep, we lay the foundation for the academic, intellectual, and character traits our students will carry throughout their time at Beacon Prep and beyond. We are shaping not only their academics but also the necessary character traits and habits they will need to succeed in high school, college, and life to support acts of service and leadership.

Offering athletics in schools is essential for fostering physical health and well-being among students, promoting an active lifestyle from an early age. Beyond fitness, sports teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for challenges. We offer basketball, soccer, volleyball, cross country, and flag football.

KIPP Austin Beacon Prep believes all students can succeed academically through rigorous instruction. We provide a rigorous academic curriculum through KIPP Wheatley reading, KIPP Wheatley writing, Amplify Science, and Eureka Math. We provide intervention to students who need support building their literary skills throughout middle school.

KIPP Austin Beacon Prep offers several after-school clubs and during-the-day clubs. KIPPsters can choose their club, and more information will be provided about during-the-day and after-school clubs in the fall.
