Do you have experience in youth co-creation activities or similar processes focused on health? Our open call to gather good practices and practical strategies in youth co-creation for health programs and research is now open! The Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI) and the Social Entrepreneurship to Spur Health (SESH) are organizing this call for contributions on how people approach youth co-creation for health programs and research effectively and successfully. Exceptional ideas will be recognized by the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) and included in a practical guide. Additionally, selected finalists will be invited to join the working group that develops the guide. 🌟 2024 Democracy Wrapped🌍 This year was monumental for democracy worldwide. From historic voter turnouts to significant leadership changes, the global elections supercycle demonstrated the power of participation. #YouthInAction - Igniting Advocacy: How The Youth Café is Empowering Africa’s Future Their initiatives are providing young leaders with the tools and platforms they need to drive real change: 🔑 Key Achievements: - Convened the “Ignite Africa Advocacy by Design” workshop in Nairobi, fostering resilient, youth-led democracies. - Distributed a Youth Advocacy Toolkit, which has already driven educational reforms in CAR and expanded advocacy networks in Kenya. - Trained 1,500+ young leaders through masterclasses, building their confidence and skills for effective advocacy.
