  • 🌍 Exciting News Alert! 🌿 What a good start to the quarter it has been! At Taka Earth, we are still buzzing with excitement over our recent collaboration with The Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Franchise and Coca-Cola Beverages Africa - Kenya . It's not every day that a young company like Taka Earth gets the chance to partner with such industry giants on sustainability initiatives. Our hearts are full of pride as our locally developed smart bins took center stage at the American Chamber of Commerce, Kenya (AMCHAM) Business Summit held at the prestigious Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club. These smart bins are not just containers; they are a testament to innovation and commitment to a greener future. By integrating sensors and AI technology, our smart bins can collect, analyze, and sort waste at its source, while also incentivizing users with rewards points for their deposits. We are aligned with Coca-Cola's vision of a World Without Waste and are determined to do our part by aiming to collect a bottle or can for each sold by 2030. While companies play a crucial role in leading climate action, true change can only happen when every individual is actively involved. That's why we are dedicated to deploying these smart bins to make waste collection more accessible and inclusive for everyone. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this partnership possible, especially to the incredible teams at The Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Franchise and Coca-Cola Beverages Africa - Kenya . Eugene Ngumi, Oloo Paul, Clifford Machoka, John Mwendwa, Susan Maingi, Victor Maundu, Nelly Gitau, and every other team member - your support and collaboration are invaluable. Special thanks also go to Bob Mwangi, Nathan Ndung'u, Dr. Cecilia Rumberia, Jacque Njeri, Kiringu Pauline, Kelvin Muriuki and the entire team at Taka Earth. Together, we are making recycling meaningful and rewarding. Let's recycle with value and create a more sustainable future for generations to come. ♻️🌟 #Sustainability #Innovation #RecycleWithPurpose

Networking allows us to tap into a vast pool of expertise, support, and potential partnerships. It's not just about who you know, but also about the relationships you build and nurture. I feel privileged to have been one of the team members from The Coca-Cola System's planning team, for the just concluded Amcham Business Summit 2024 at Windsor Golf Club. At the summit, it was really great to connect and cross-pollinate with Sustainability/ESG practitioners from across the African region. I believe the power of networks lies in their ability to connect people, ideas, and resources, facilitating collaboration, knowledge sharing, and opportunities.I am therefore extremely elated to have expanded my network further. In collaboration with Taka Earth , we showcased a locally made(Made in Kenya) smart bin, an innovation meant to accelerate collection and recycling of packaging waste with an intergrated reward system. Guys, the future is here. With motivation and value for waste created, this technology will help make waste challenges in the country a thing of the past. Well done kelvin muchiri and your team, looking forward to the next steps. Many thanks to my system Public Affairs Communications and Sustainability(PACS) colleagues, I learned alot from you. Be blessed. Oloo Paul Nelly Gitau Eugene Ngumi Susan Maingi Clifford Machoka John Mwendwa Wendy Thole-Muir Keli Fernie
