Synspective is pleased to announce that our #StriX #SAR #satellite series has successfully acquired some of Japan's highest-resolution images in two observation modes 🛰️🦉 In the staring spotlight mode, we achieved Japan’s highest resolution, with a ground-range resolution of 0.46 m × azimuth resolution of 0.25 m. Additionally, using the sliding spotlight mode, which provides one of the highest resolutions in the Japanese satellite sector, we acquired images with a ground-range resolution of 0.46 m × azimuth resolution of 0.5 m. Our founder and CEO, Motoyuki Arai, was a guest lecturer on #entrepreneurship to over 200 students of Todahigashi Elementary School in Saitama Prefecture 🏫 The class was organized by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to promote entrepreneurship #education among future generations.

Our business partners, JEPICO (Japan) and Xiphos (Canada), visited our #SAR #satellite mass-production site, Yamato Technology Center. Stefan Andrei Chelariu and Hajime Morioka, the General Managers of satellite development and manufacturing, guided them around our new site.

October 13 marks the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, established in 1989 following a United Nations General Assembly initiative to foster global crisis awareness and disaster reduction. Synspective has been using our SAR satellite, StriX, to observe and analyze areas affected by multiple earthquakes and floods, including the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on January 1, 2024. We have provided these images to governments and private companies to support their disaster response and recovery efforts.
