We seek a full-time, in-person administrative assistant at our Paragould, Arkansas, location.
Compensation:
$14.
00 - 16.
00 per hour

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Assisting physicians with patient scheduling, completion of associated documentation, and receipt of payments
Assisting site supervisors as needed
Assisting with continuity of care and patient traffic flow
Tracking client attendance for scheduled physician appointments
Answering incoming telephone calls, taking and conveying associated messages
Processing requests for services as needed
Verifying client Medicaid/Insurance coverage as needed
Interacting with physicians’ offices to obtain PCP referrals as needed
Monitoring and maintaining the confidentiality of client and staff-protected information
Assisting with maintaining office safety and performance of emergency drills
Maintaining the Material Safety Data Sheet file
Maintaining product recall file
Distributing and adhering to policies and procedures as established by superiors
Qualifications and Experience:
The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Related experience and training
Moderate to excellent computer skills
Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks promptly
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write professional reports and general business correspondence
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, clients, and the general public
Ability to perform essential mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds frequently.

LSCI provides outpatient counseling and psychiatric services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and group psychotherapy in a warm, safe, and supportive environment.
Services are offered for a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, childhood abuse and trauma, family and relationship issues, grief and loss, and addiction recovery.
