Reducing Node Requirements: Imagine running an Ethereum node on your smartphone! 2. Enhancing Staking: To promote solo staking, Vitalik is pushing for changes that lower the technical and financial barriers. This includes new technologies like Verkle trees and EIP-4444, making staking more accessible and decentralized. 3. Tackling MEV Issues: Buterin introduced "inclusion lists" to ensure fair transaction processing, reducing the power of block builders and addressing the long-standing Miner Extractable Value (MEV) problem.

Our #developingdev, Wilhelm Muller, is relatively new to the industry and has compiled some of his industry best practices for new software developers and engineers looking to hone their skills: 1. 🔨Get Tangled with your Toolset🔨: As a software developer we breathe reading and writing code. However, transferring that to the workplace in a reliable and efficient way requires some unwritten skills. First and foremost we must familiarise ourselves with the tools of the trade. Projects come in all shapes and sizes and often require different software and various environments for testing, viewing, or deploying. Taking the time and care to set up these "extra" tools correctly and efficiently will save you plenty of headaches in the future. Taking a look at a very well known example we have GitHub: Taking the time to learn GitHub commands, settings and permissions will greatly increase the ease and pace at which you move. Simply investing slightly more than average here will have you flying through projects with increased reliability. 2.🫀Essential organ-ising🫀: With the theme of GitHub, organisational skills are criminally underrated. Keep things neat, well documented and organised. Ever lose a file? Mislabel something? Forget what code is supposed to do? Break the production environment? This can all be greatly minimised with a little bit of planning and order. 3. 👟💨Speed-running with Accuracy👟💨: Another big game-changer to coding speed and efficiency is research. Spending hours going to war with bugs and errors? There is no shame in pulling up Google a little earlier than that, oftentimes the solution can be found quick and easy, and implemented without much pain. 4. 👂Communicate on campaigns👂: Moving onto some more interpersonal skills. Setting apart time and resources to meet with co-workers is essential. Whether it be planning a future project, discussing changes/bugs or even a summary of work that needs to be done. Doing this well will reduce future headaches as well as keeping everyone in the loop and up to date. 5. ❓️Any questions?❓️: Lastly, the greatest weapon we as developers have is asking questions...especially the dumb ones. Understanding what we are doing, as well as how it needs to be done is critical. In summary here is what to focus on: - Efficiency with tools you use - Organization and planning - Collaborate effectively. These skills will transfer you from a degree-holder into a leader of efficient and accurate production in the workplace. #softwaredevelopment #softwaresuperheroes #softwareengineering
