    The importance of entrepreneurs is significant for the economic development of European economies. Entrepreneurs have the chance to differentiate themselves from established competitors in the market with the help of dialogue communication. The new digital communication services in the field of social media provide the entrepreneurs with excellent possibilities to address their clients regardless of limited resources and cultural boundaries.

    Entrepreneurs' adaption of modern communication technologies and innovative customer relationship maintaining technologies opens a broad range of research opportunities. Entrepreneurs are often innovators in their domain, but insufficiently trained in establishing and maintaining customer dialogues. Moreover, their levels of customer relationship management differ and they are often not familiar with the use of modern technologies in support of these processes. One practical aim of MARCIEE is to strengthen the innovativeness of European entrepreneurs and to professionalize their intercultural communication and marketing activities in order to establish competitive advantages over non-European entrepreneurs. The international cooperation of doctoral students, post-docs and other interested researchers makes it not only possible for them to have access to data from different European nations, but also to learn how to cope with intercultural challenges. These concern the contents of research activities (e.g. equivalence of scales in intercultural comparisons) and the differing research traditions, processes and theoretical explanations across cultures.

    During this youth exchange the participants will work on developing and improving their communication, self management and personal skills in order to increase their employability. Also, they will get the chance to share their own experience and good practice examples in order to learn from each other. Main objective of this youth exchange is to give the participants the knowledge and skills needed these days in the environment of
    increased youth unemployment. This will be reached with using non-formal learning methods, such as:
    workshops, public speaking practice, simulation game and many others.
    This youth exchange will have positive impact on personal and social development of the participants: they will gain and improve skills that are important for young people living in the enlarged Europe like intercultural competence, ability to work in international team, language skills. This project will help participants to raise self confidence when being in unusual situations and also increase their interest about other countries and cultures.
    The participants have worked on developing and improving their communication, self management, stress management, time management, job interviewing.

Secondly, by capacitating the youth in their attitudes and skills, they are expected to develop innovative sustainable business plans to turn the urban environmental challenges around them into income-generating…

    The purpose of the project is to enable the youth to seize the opportunities in their local surroundings to achieve two immediate goals: firstly, to secure self-employment using social enterprise and preserving their urban environment, based on the “cradle-to-cradle” zero waste concept. Secondly, by capacitating the youth in their attitudes and skills, they are expected to develop innovative sustainable business plans to turn the urban environmental challenges around them into income-generating activities. In order to encourage the youth, those of them who internalize the concept and come up with concrete business plans based on local solutions will be provided with small scale start-up capital to realize their businesses.

    Through non-formal and informal learning methods, the training will provide 4 youth workers from Lebanon with practical knowledge and innovative methods on debating and advocacy skills. The selected youth workers are expected to use the acquired knowledge to empower young people to become climate youth ambassadors who are capable of advocating their environmental concerns towards decision-makers.
