Dai fondi del caffè, infinite possibilità espressive
Chi siamo

So proud to have been the case study of the day with our co-founder Rita Bonucchi #circulareconomy #design #startup
Should Designers be Business-oriented? It is a YES at Raffles Design Institute (Singapore). Beside promoting Sustainability, is your design truly a circular solution and for better business? It is also a YES as Raffles Designers are taught to be responsible designers at heart. We are honoured to have Rita Bonucchi, co-founder of #Coffeefrom, one of the eight startups selected for the Global Startup Programme in Singapore to share about this design business. Coffeefrom is an innovative start-up with social responsibility at its heart. It is a project that gives new life to coffee waste by creating new sustainable materials. Coffeefrom transforms spent coffee grounds from the food industry into recycled and biobased thermoplastic compounds. This gives a formerly useless by-product that was discarded as waste a second life. Thank you Marianna Fichera for arranging this insightful talk, and Rita for her time to share this new material for Raffles Design students to explore in their future projects. An eye-opening lesson #StudyAtRaffles! #SuccessByDesign
