Solution:
Cyber Security Gap Analysis
MTA is a rapidly expanding organization that recognizes the importance of safeguarding the data it manages, utilizes, and maintains custody of. This data may include sensitive information such as contracts, personal details, credit card data, etc. Furthermore, MTA is responsible for securing its own operational data, such as employee data, customer data, contracts, financial systems, and more.
To assess the current maturity level of MTA’s information security, a comprehensive security analysis was needed. The review should be focused on examining documented business policies and processes, data storage strategies and systems, infrastructure encompassing networking and servers, and security access models. The emphasis should be on assessing how data is accessed and managed.
iSecureData conducted a comprehensive security analysis of the MTA current information security posture across 14 security categories. The scope of the analysis encompassed a review of the organization’s existing data management processes and system infrastructure.
The report presented by iSecureData was structured in a manner that provides a brief description of the observation for each security category, thereby highlighting the current state of that category. This was followed by a thorough identification of risks associated with each category, along with related recommendations that can be adopted to mitigate the risks.
The report comprises more than 50 action plans that encompass technical, managerial, and systematic aspects. These action plans have been described in detail and the MTA has initiated implementation of the recommended plans to enhance its information security posture.
