A recent immersive study trek to Providence's Global Innovation Center gave our PGP Co’25 students a closer look at their legacy, the innovative work in healthcare, and exciting plans for India. Through engaging sessions on data analytics, AI in healthcare, and understanding the US healthcare system, the students gained valuable insights from industry leaders. A highlight was an interactive session with Murali Krishna, Chief Global Officer and Country Head, and Providence India’s senior leadership. A special AMA session with ISB alumni at Providence India also offered our students a unique opportunity to understand career paths at Providence India and how they can contribute to transforming healthcare.   Thank you to the Providence India team for an enriching experience. Congratulations to Dr.Yogitha Namasani (AMPH Co '24) on her appointment as Cluster Incharge - Technical Operations, Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited. In this role, Dr Yogitha will oversee technical operational aspects, including TAT management, personnel, equipment, inventory, and complaint resolution. She will be responsible for establishing new processing centres, ensuring quality assurance, and facilitating training programmes. #HealthcareatISB #ISBAlumni

Congratulations to Dr Venkata vivek kaveti (AMPH Co '24) on his appointment as Associate Director, Occupational Health, ekincare. In this role, he will spearhead occupational health consulting by expanding coverage, designing innovative employee-centric health systems, and fostering healthier, more productive workplace environments. #HeathcareatISB

ISB Max Institute of Healthcare Management and The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) recently hosted experts working in the antimicrobial resistance space to discuss better ways of sustainably using last resort antibiotics by strengthening antimicrobial stewardship practices.   The consultation organised at the Hyderabad and Mohali campus of ISB brought together multiple stakeholders from the health sector across various functions. They included policymakers, clinicians, microbiologists, pharmacists, pharmacologists, hospital administrators within the government and private sector, civil society groups, biotech innovators, representatives from the pharma and diagnostic sector. Shri R.V. Karnan, IAS, Commissioner, Health and Family Welfare, Telangana and Shri Ghanshyam Thori, IAS, MD-NHM Punjab, delivered the keynote addresses at Hyderabad and Mohali, respectively and highlighted the importance of such initiatives.   The consultation is integral to a research project, ‘Towards an Antibiotic Roadmap for the Sustainable Entry and Management of Antibiotic X’ undertaken in India by ISB MIHM, ICARS, and CMC Vellore.    Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g2CiQR8Z Here are some glimpses.

The ISB Max Institute of Healthcare Management is supporting L V PRASAD EYE INSTITUTE and Idea Clinics - Institute of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Adiposity Private Limited, India in implementing the ICMR-funded SMART DROP initiative for diabetic retinopathy care. A free eye screening camp was recently conducted in Hyderabad to promote early detection and eye health among people with diabetes. #HealthcareatISB
