Another structured method is the Kepner-Tregoe (KT) method, which – if applied – can help the data centers in their endeavor since it guides the analysis of a situation, the determination of the causes of this situation, the consideration of options and the implementation of those options that are sustainable. Block diagram Kepner-Tregoe method Situation Appraisal Situation Appraisal focuses on evaluation and understanding of sustainability issues in data center environment and definition of situations and circumstances in it. This as a result is followed by such problems as high energy rates and poor cooling mechanisms. Essentially, through evaluating such factors, participants are in a position to prioritize sustainability objectives, such as the reduction of carbon emissions, to develop appropriate action plan. Problem Analysis Problem Analysis is one of the sustainability tools that look at the reasons behind most sustainability issues. For instance, information, which indicates that energy consumption has gone high than the best practice might point to a situation where equipment have degraded or are old. With help of differentiation of symptoms and root causes, such as increasing with energy-efficient servers, the managers can create more precise approaches. Decision Analysis Decision Analysis involves weighing of different strategies that could be adopted in promoting sustainability. This relies on comparison of cost and benefit of business with regards to such factors as ROI and impact on the physical environment. For example, a data center may opt to develop new power sources such as solar, wind, or hydroelectric versus increasing density of the current facility for increased efficiency. Potential Problem Analysis Last of them, Potential Problem Analysis is used to identify the risks connected with chosen solutions. Here, we face a risk of encountering new problems when putting in place new technologies. Thus, it is easier for the managers to come up with contingencies of these potential problems so that sustainability programs will not be easily affected. Conclusion By adopting the Kepner Tregoe method, it is possible for data centers to follow a rational order for attacking specific sustainability issues while improving decision making regarding sustainable living as well as enhance a sustainable culture that embraces continuous improvement.

Thanks, Dr. Jeffrey Funk, for your detailed assessment. Greatly appreciated. This doesn't mean that "AI" isn't an important tool, but it's not a magical tool you plug in, and good schtuff happens. There is a lot of work required to first understand your organization's key business and operational initiatives (that is, how does your organization create value for its stakeholders), the desired outcomes, the key decisions you need to optimize, and the KPIs and metrics against which to measure outcomes and decision effectiveness. And also remember, that "AI" is not just a single tool, but is a category that includes many different types of "AI" including Analytical, Causal, Generative, and Autonomous. Wipro, Microsoft collaborate to launch AI-powered assistants for financial services. "This new solution set, powered by Microsoft, will help provide better and faster market and product intelligence to financial advisors and banking professionals, enabling them to deliver more personalized and timely service to clients," said Suzanne Dann, CEO of Americas 2 SMU. "These solutions will also reduce the multiple -- often repetitive -- steps needed to onboard new investors or originate loans, cutting down the time spent on paperwork," she added. The solutions will also utilize Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence, which uses advanced machine learning to extract text, key-value pairs, and structures from documents.
