Swarming of two multi-rotor UAVs

After successfully stabilising two multi-rotor aerial vehicles, I swarmed the two of them using a leader-follower algorithm.
As we attempt to swarm them, the GPS signal accuracy for both the quad-copters must be high as there is a feedback loop to be established between the two of them. Autopilot for the two UAVs will be tested confirming the navigational capabilities of said quad-copters.
Post this, an in-built option to swarm the two of the UAVs using the Mission Planner…After successfully stabilising two multi-rotor aerial vehicles, I swarmed the two of them using a leader-follower algorithm.
As we attempt to swarm them, the GPS signal accuracy for both the quad-copters must be high as there is a feedback loop to be established between the two of them. Autopilot for the two UAVs will be tested confirming the navigational capabilities of said quad-copters.
Post this, an in-built option to swarm the two of the UAVs using the Mission Planner software, which is open-source software, will be used. Since this is not a method previously tried upon by peers, we are in the process of learning Python to code in Rasberry Pi to enable swarming by overriding the already existent Mission Planner controls as a backup. -
Automation of miniature doors

We as a team of three built miniature versions of plastic doors using 3D printing and rack and pinion mechanism and successfully automated it in case an object attempting to enter it.
An Arduino microcontroller connected with a Ultrasonic Sensor was mounted on the door with the Arduino board concealed beneath the door and the signal from the Ultrasonic Sensor was interpreted correctly as an object to switch the motor on and in turn, using the rack and pinion mechanism, open the door…We as a team of three built miniature versions of plastic doors using 3D printing and rack and pinion mechanism and successfully automated it in case an object attempting to enter it.

Building two multi-rotor UAVs using Arducopter

In our experience of working as a team of three for over four months in association Dr C Ramprasad, an Associate Professor at SASTRA University, we learnt various concepts required to stabilise a quad-copter using an arducopter flight controller. Working through multiple calibrations for the quad-copter, I along with my team successfully stabilised two quad-copters enabled with GPS.
