Fresh From Farm (F3) is India’s fastest growing fruits company. Started to solve the challenges of the fruit vendor, F3 is currently operational in New Delhi/ NCR across 400+ vendors! Traditionally a fruit vendor faces challenges including - 1. Early morning visit to APMCs for procurement 2. Heckling with various traders to fulfil his vast SKU basket 3. #Agritech company Arya. ag has secured around Rs 242.36 crore ($29.2 million) from current investors. This is the Noida-based company's first round of funding since January 2022. The board of Arya. ag has issued a special resolution to issue 53,695 CCPS at an issue price of Rs 45,137 apiece in order to raise the aforementioned sum ($29.2 million), according to a regulatory filing obtained from the RoC. Previous backers Asia Impact and Quona Capital, through Quona Blue Earth and Accion Quona, contributed Rs 134.46 crore. According to TheKredible, the company is valued at roughly Rs 2,700 crore or $325 million (post-allotment). The #firm may raise further cash, and the valuation may adjust correspondingly. Arya. ag has raised around $110 million to far, including a $60 million Series C investment headed by Asia Impact SA, Lightrock, and Quona Capital in 2022. According to startup #dataanalytics platform TheKredible, Lightrock (previously Aspada Investment) was the largest external shareholder with 17.89% as of the Series C financing, followed by Lightrock Venture, which owned 12.84% of the company. Arya. ag is a grain commerce platform that connects agricultural producers (sellers) with purchasers. It supplies #farmers with additional services like as warehousing and debt financing through third-party lenders. Unlike many firms of its age, Arya. ag turned a profit in the fiscal year ended March 2023. While the company's gross scale increased by 49.48% year on year to Rs 290 crore in FY23, its profit increased 11 times to Rs 7.58 crore during the same period. According to the company, its net revenue rose to Rs 360 crore in FY24, with a net profit of Rs 17 crore. The e-NAM (Electronic National Agriculture Market) is a transformative initiative launched in 2016 to unify Agricultural Produce Market Committees (APMCs) across India through a digital trading platform. It has significantly enhanced market transparency by enabling real-time price discovery and reducing transaction costs through the elimination of intermediaries. By providing farmers direct access to buyers nationwide, e-NAM has improved market access and increased competition, leading to better pricing. Moreover, the adoption of paperless transactions has lessened administrative burdens. However, challenges persist, such as limited digital literacy among farmers, inadequate rural infrastructure, and the need for standardized quality assessment mechanisms. Additionally, issues surrounding timely payments and dispute resolution, along with the seamless integration of e-NAM with existing APMC systems, require attention. To maximize its potential, these areas must be addressed to create a more efficient and inclusive market environment for Indian farmers.

Agrizy Secures $9.8 Mn in Series A Funding to Revolutionize Agri Supply Chain Bengaluru-based B2B agritech startup Agrizy has raised $9.8 Mn (INR 82 Cr) in a Series A funding round co-led by Accion and Omnivore, with participation from Capria Ventures, Thai Wah Ventures, and existing investor Ankur Capital. Founded in 2021 by Vicky Dodani and Saket Chirania, Agrizy connects agri suppliers, processors, and buyers through a digital marketplace. The funds will help expand into new products and regions, launch contract manufacturing and advisory services, and offer financial services to MSME processors and FPOs. Agrizy, a leading B2B agri-processing platform based in India, has successfully raised $9.8 million (approximately ₹82 crore) in a Series A funding round. The round was co-led by Accion, a global nonprofit focused on financial inclusion, and Omnivore, an agri-tech venture capital firm. The funding round also saw participation from Capria Ventures, Thai Wah Ventures, and existing investor Ankur Capital. Founded in 2021 by Vicky Dodani and Saket Chirania, Agrizy has been integrating technology into the agricultural sector to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of food processing and distribution.
